PHYLLIS WEISS HASEROT
Phyllis has spoken before numerous bar and CPA association, law and accounting/consulting firm, in-house marketing executive, corporate communication and non-profit organization audiences. She was the moderator of the Client Development Forum on two major professional online sites and has served as moderator and panelist for numerous online seminars and webcasts. Phyllis created and facilitates a series of *Cross-Generational Conversation* forums and is the discussion leader for the American Bar Association's "Generational Differences" forum. The author of THE RAINMAKING MACHINE: Marketing Planning, Strategies and Management for Law Firms, (Thomson/West LegalWorks 2007), THE MARKETER'S HANDBOOK OF TIPS & CHECKLISTS (Andrews Professional Books), and Venturesome Questions: The Law Firm's Guide for Developing a New Business Venture, Phyllis has been widely published and quoted in the professional services and business press. Among her affiliations and board positions: Co-founder and Board of Directors of the New York Metropolitan LMA (Legal Marketing Association) chapter; LMA; the American Bar Association Law Practice Management Section, Work-Life Excellence Task Force; International Association of Coaches (IAC); New York City Midtown Coaching Center; President's Council of Cornell Women Steering Committee; Chair of The Leadership Connection; The Accountants Forum, Board of Directors of Broadway Theater Institute. Over the years, she has served on the Board of Directors of several other not-for-profit/professional organizations. Phyllis received both B.A. and M.R.P. degrees, and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Cornell University and has additional credentials in marketing, real estate, workplace conflict resolution, coaching, and law.
